Travel and Leisure says it's so. The world's top family hotels and cruises is in our own backyard. They call it "Lost Pines". We call it Bastrop. Hyatt Lost Pines is where the pups are traveling for a post New Year's overnighter. It helps that the Amex points make it more joyous on our leader's pocketbook.
The sheriff lives two doors down in case you were thinking of visiting while we're gone. A DPS trooper lives up and 5 houses away in case you were thinking I left my Nelson traveling sprinkler outside again. (love that thing)
Anyway, doggies are allowed at Hyatt Lost Pines and after apologizing for leaving them briefly for the movie/dinner celebration, we'll take off tomorrow for Lockhart bar-b-que, black eyed peas and then on over to the fancy schmancy Hyatt. Those new stylish collars will come in handy, but I don't think Mattie can chase the wildlife at this place.
